Meet Dr. Dhara B. Patel, DDS

I am super excited to say I have been enjoying my time in the Denver area. After moving here in August of 2023, I have decided to make this my home. I am an Illinois native. I grew up in and around Chicago for 33 years. I went to all state schools for my undergraduate years, dental school years, and residency. I have really enjoyed my time in this area. I have spent five years building relationships as a member of the associate board of Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center, which deals with all the major cases of child abuse in the city. In the dental field, I have just started to develop my understanding of airway and sleep disorders in children and our roles in screening. I’m very into child health and wellness and have taken on a project to start a podcast dedicated to it called Raising the Future, which can be found on Apple, Spotify, Amazon, and Pocket Cast. At the office, I am fun-loving, outgoing, patient, and a friendly presence. I like to joke with the patients and team members and dance to the music in the background. Outside of my career, I enjoy hiking, paddleboarding, dancing, music, and art. My family does not live in the area, so I am building my chosen family at the moment. I am looking forward to becoming a part of the team at Littleton Kids Dentistry and Orthodontics and working in a safe space that allows me to be my authentic self and provide patients with an enriching experience at the dentist.
